Helping You Ride Life's Waves

My practice helps clients ride life's waves, instead of fight them. Client-centered care means you'll feel truly heard, seen, and supported. I specialize in the LGBTQIA+ community, women's issues, life transitions, divorce, parenting, and ADHD — tailoring my approach whether you're navigating depression, anxiety, or other mental health challenges.

About

Helping you ride life's waves, shifting currents, and changing tides.

Hi, I'm Renee Demirdjian, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #155078). I came to this work through my own path — as a client in therapy myself, as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, as a former high school science teacher, and as a mother and co-parent. Being vulnerable and feeling deeply seen and heard transformed my own life, and it's what led me to want to walk alongside others on their journey. Over the years, I've built a practice around one simple belief: my job isn't to help you fight life's waves, but to help you learn to ride them. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I specialize in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, women's issues, life transitions, divorce, co-parenting, and ADHD. My approach is client-centered at its core — I want every person who sits across from me to feel truly heard and seen, not just diagnosed or managed. No two clients are alike, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether someone is navigating depression, anxiety, a major life transition, or the everyday challenges of parenting through change, I draw from an integrative toolkit — including CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, psychodynamic and Jungian approaches, psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, somatic grounding, and motivational interviewing — to meet each client exactly where they are.
